As part of Ms. Henderson’s work with Amarillo Opera, she will direct Little Red’s Most Unusual Day by John Davies for Amarillo Opera’s Fairytale Outreach program! This charming and humorous adaptation of Little Red Riding Hood blends familiar melodies from Offenbach and Rossini with an engaging story that captivates young audiences. Through this production, Amarillo Opera brings opera to elementary schools, introducing children to the magic of live performance while fostering a love for storytelling and music. Performances will take place the week of May 19, 2025 at various elementary schools in the Amarillo Area
