Alissa Henderson is an American soprano with a rich portfolio of performance experiences across opera, concert stages, and academic settings. She holds a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from Texas Tech University and a Bachelor of Business in Accounting with a major in Music from the University of Portland. Alissa has performed with companies such as Amarillo Opera, Seattle Opera, and the Lubbock Symphony Orchestra. She has embodied roles such as Rosalinda in Die Fledermaus, Blanche in Dialogues of the Carmelites, and The Second Lady in The Magic Flute. Most recently, Alissa was the featured soloist in the premier of Novae Laudis with the Amarillo Symphony and Amarillo Master Chorale.

In addition to her performance career, Alissa is equally passionate about empowering musicians with the knowledge needed to thrive in the business aspects of their careers. She has developed a lecture “Business Basics for Musicians” and has presented it at the University of Portland and is set to present it at Texas Tech University in April. Drawing from her unique background in both music and business, Alissa’s lecture aims to equip emerging artists with essential financial and managerial skills, providing them with the tools to navigate the complexities of the music industry.
